This is the fifth Emergency Notification survey to be carried out by the CSNL group to date. We are eager to run this survey,which is all the more important with the disaster in Japan.

Tuesday,5 19,09, of this coming week Dr. Phillip Zimbardo will be lecturing at Rutgers University. I intend to attend and hope my students who have time will be there too. My student,Kate DeBlois,is currently carrying out her Emergency Notification Study and so far she has met with success in participant recruitment and data collection. Aditi Mankar and I have been discussing how to run several studies to be carried out internationally. Kate’s study has served as a spring board for thinking about and [...] Tomorrow is an upcoming meeting with the CSNL Research assistant to get Blogging underway as well as begin a new survey. Regarding the blogging;several topics of interest will be reviewed and commented upon by students for their own use and to begin a path for future CSNL research students to benefit from as our [...] CSNL has been updated for better ease of use and to allow the students carrying out research to edit their own blogs.
